Spreading Christmas Cheer

Check out these cuties!

From the movie Elf, Buddy says: "The best way to spread christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear." Jovie (Zooey Deschanel): "Thanks, but I don't sing." Buddy: "Oh, it's easy. It's just like talking, except louder and longer and you move your voice up and down."

I'm not sure if I agree with Buddy the Elf, but I do love our tradition of Christmas caroling, because there really is nothing better than proclaiming that Jesus has come to earth to be the ultimate sacrifice.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

I wanted to share another way you can spread Christmas cheer and be God's hands here on earth.

You can consider helping a small Children's Home in Chiapas, Mexico fill all the stockings for their 17 children and help fill their pantry.  The Children's Home is run by Mexican nationals with almost no outside help.  I can guarantee that every dollar you send will go to stuff stockings for the children or stocking their pantry.  Our good friends in Chiapas, the Lopez Family, will be personally buying and delivering everything.  If you want to know more about them, you can visit her blog, Just Behind That Mountain.  To donate just click the donate button on our Means Family official web page, then send me a note saying you want it to go to the Children's home.

Some of the children praying together.

And if that doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, maybe these pictures of some missionary kids to Mexico enjoying their first snow in four years will.

You know your a redneck if...you get pulled behind a vehicle in the snow!

Where's your hat girl!

Hey Big Bro, I'm not so sure about this.  Oh!  Don't worry, we'll be fine!

OK!  Maybe not!

I have no words!
